Flaming Gorge Resort. has remodeled motel, etc. close by store and restaurant. i cannot recommend dutch john section, it needs some TLC. but has cabins some are new.

I can't offer any off-roading information, as we didn't do any - we stayed on the main roads on which we did receive cell service.

I'm sorry that I don't remember the name. However, it was a marina on the south side of the gorge. They had a restaurant (more of a bar with bar food) that is open on the weekends. It was a mile or so from the dam. If you rent a pontoon, we were advised to do it in the morning. Winds can come up in the afternoon, making the ride less enjoyable. This worked out well for us.
