Great place for fishing!! The water was clear and great for boat drifting. They had nice, free parking lots for loading and unloading. I highly recommend going there on your next visit!!!Full review by Julia D

Also, does the 3 hours include the driving time back, or what is the total amount of time from the start at 10am to finish when we arrive back at our vehicles, thank you!

Hello. Coming into North Yellowstone via US Highway 89 there were many rafting companies along the adjacent Yellowstone River. I'm sure any of them would have the information and opportunities you are looking for. As in the previous answer, be aware of the conditions. I don't believe the outfitters will let you go into any dangerous situations.

We visited in summer so can't speak to that time of the year. The beauty of the area is worthwhile anytime IMO. Yes road access will be limited and some trails too so a call into NPS may help tremendously. I still think it's hibernating season but some areas may be off limits in case the big furry animals are "waking up". Lots of animals near east entrance (to Cody WY), and Mammoth Springs.
