Canadian wildfires in Manitoba and Saskatchewan have prompted air quality alerts in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan on Wednesday and Thursday as residents are advised to "limit prolonged or heavy exertion.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires will contribute to poor air quality throughout Michigan on Wednesday and Thursday.

Clear skies will hold on through the night with lows falling down to 55 degrees. The wind will be northeasterly still but slacken-up its speed to just 5 to 15 mph. Wildfire smoke will be leaving overnight so by sunrise, air quality will be good again!
