Veterans made their way to Detroit Lions training camp in Allen Park, Michigan, over the weekend with media flocking to ring in the dawn of the new season for the Motor City's NFL franchise. The Lions have big goals ahead of them with a daunting schedule on the horizon and the return of several key players from injury.

The Detroit Lions and linebacker Alex Anzalone have been an ideal match over the past four season. Anzalone signed with the team in 2021 and has become a four-time defensive captain, cementing himself as a core member of the organization and it's defense.

Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone was not among the players that the team placed on the physically unable to perform or non-football injury lists ahead of their first training camp practice, but Anzalone did not take part in Sunday's session.
