Los Angeles Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell (shoulder) threw out to 60 feet on Wednesday, according to manager Dave Roberts. Snell's visit with a doctor recently went well after he had a bit more discomfort in his left shoulder over the weekend,

The Dodgers pitching staff is in shambles due to injuries, but they will get a valuable and important member of their rotation back this weekend when Clayton Kershaw makes his 2025 debut.

Blake Snell is set to meet with Dodgers team doctors on Monday as the parties try to determine the next step in his recovery from left shoulder soreness.

The Dodgers’ inability to stay on the field is almost unbelievable. Their current injured list includes Snell, Tyler Glasnow, and Evan Phillips on the 15-day, with Michael Kopech, Emmet Sheehan, Blake Treinen, and Brusdar Graterol among the 60-day members.

Roki Sasaki, who is on the injured list with a shoulder impingement, said he isn't sure if the injury is the main reason for an alarming dip in his fastball's velocity.

The Dodgers announced on Wednesday that top prospect Dalton Rushing, a catcher selected in the second round of the 2022 draft, would be getting the call to the big leagues. Of course, Rushing would sit behind the surging Smith at catcher, though the Dodgers did designate long-tenured Austin Barnes for assignment to make room for Rushing.
