The No. 2 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft, Brink got off to a strong start in her rookie year before she injured her knee on June 18 in a game against the Connecticut Sun. Prior to going down, she averaged 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 blocks across 15 games.

Over a year after Cameron Brink tore her ACL, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 WNBA draft made a highly anticipated return to the court with the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night.

Brink’s return will certainly give Los Angeles a boost moving forward. Los Angeles has a defensive rating of 107.5 and allows the second-most points in the paint with 37.2 per game. Brink, even in her current limited capacity, is still one of the best defenders on this roster.
