Jenna Bush Hager is working through her conflicted emotions over Hoda Kotb ’s upcoming Today show exit. During the Tuesday, Dec. 3 episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Bush Hager admitted that she was coping with her frustrations by teasing Kotb about journalist Gayle King, who is the NBC morning show’s competitor on CBS Mornings.

It looks like Jenna Bush Hager already has her sights set on her next Today co-host. Hoda Kotb will be retiring in January 2025, after which the fourth hour of Today will rebrand from Today With Hoda & Jenna to Today With Jenna & Friends,
