Franco Colapinto has crashed out of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix Qualifying session. The Alpine driver confirmed that he was okay over the team radio and was able to exit the car unassisted. The Argentine crashed into the barriers at the exit of Tamburello (Turn 4),

Yuki Tsunoda has been taken to the Imola circuit’s medical centre after suffering a massive crash at the start of qualifying at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. The Japanese driver, at the start of his first flying lap in Q1, lost control of his car heading into the turn 5-6 chicane.

Red Bull's Yuki Tsunoda crashed heavily in the first phase of qualifying for the Emilia-Romagna Formula One Grand Prix on Saturday and was taken to the Imola circuit medical centre for checks. The session was halted for repairs to the tyre barriers.
