Invest 95L is becoming more organized and will likely develop into a tropical depression or Tropical Storm Jerry in the next day or so. This potential system will move northwest and is forecast to pass close to the Leeward Islands by Thursday and Friday.

The National Hurricane Center is tracking Invest 95L in the central Atlantic. A tropical wave that we’ve been tracking for about a week has now been tagged Invest-95 by the National Hurricane Center. That means that we are now able to run computer models. For now, the system is in the open Atlantic, several hundred miles from the Cabo Verde islands, but is working toward the Caribbean islands.
