President Donald Trump and his political operation are working to unseat their first Republican incumbent: Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie, who has drawn Trump's wrath by saying the president lacked the authority to attack Iran's nuclear sites without congressional approval and voted against his massive tax and spending cuts

Thomas Massie voted against the One Big Beautiful Bill Act last month and recently sowed doubt that Iran was an "imminent threat" before Trump chose to strike.

This is his problem: (Trump) gives me more status every time he attacks me. You can’t say at the same time that I’m irrelevant to the discussion in DC and then acknowledge that I’m living rent-free in the president’s head.
