Two top 25 teams played on Friday night. No. 2 Miami (FL) hosted Louisville in an ACC game, and No. 25 Nebraska traveled to take on Minnesota in a Big Ten Conference showdown. Surprisingly, both teams suffered losses in a pair of big upsets in Week 8.

The No. 2 Miami Hurricanes were upset by three points at home by the unranked Louisville Cardinals on Friday night.

Week 8 has already started with a surprise loss by No. 2 Miami at the hands of Louisville. There surely will be further shocking results ahead. They could come among the trio of games in the SEC that will have a major impact on the conference race.
