Florida State Seminoles quarterback Luke Kromenhoek officially announced his intentions to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal on Wednesday via Instagram after closing out at the starting position under center to end a disastrous 2-10 season. The true freshman, who started the ‘Noles’ last two games during their disastrous 2024 season, told Hayes Fawcett of On3Sports he’s entering the NCAA transfer portal. Kromenhoek, who committed to FSU in March 2022 and signed last December, will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Florida State freshman quarterback Luke Kromenhoek is planning to enter the transfer portal, according to a report from On3's Hayes Fawcett. He played in six games for the Seminoles in 2024, starting their final two games of the season.

Kromenhoek was a four-star recruit coming out of high school according to 247Sports. He attended Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia, committing to Florida State during his sophomore season. Over his junior and senior seasons, Kromenhoek threw for 5,151 yards and 48 touchdowns to just five interceptions.
