U.S. regulators have opening an investigation into 2.6 million Tesla after reports of crashes involving the use of company technology that allows drivers to remotely command their vehicle to return to them,

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Tesla’s automated summoning feature has been linked to at least four crashes.

The “Actually Smart Summon” feature enables drivers to remotely summon or move their vehicles to them or another location via a mobile phone app.
