The Indiana Fever are coming off a dominant 92-70 victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday night to improve to 18-14 overall and win six of their last eight games— all without star point guard Caitlin Clark.

The Indiana Fever have signed veteran point guard Odyssey Sims to a hardship contract, the team announced Sunday. The Fever became eligible for a hardship exception after Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald went down with season-ending injuries in a defeat to the Phoenix Mercury on Aug.

Odyssey Sims had just one day of practice with the Fever before Tuesday's game. But as a player who has done that before, she knows how to handle it.
