PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Investigators are looking into whether there could have been an accomplice involved in the Kada Scott case. The 23-year-old Philadelphia woman went missing and was ultimately found dead.
Friends and family are gathered to pay tribute to Kada Scott, the young woman whose body was found near a Philadelphia school.
The Philadelphia community gathered again on Tuesday night to honor Kada Scott. "To see this happen to someone so close to me and not understand why it happened, such a senseless, foolish crime," said Preye Korimodei, who is Scott's friend.
Keon King, 21, of Philadelphia, is also now facing arson, causing catastrophe, conspiracy and tampering with evidence, among other charges in connection with the case, the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office announced during a press conference on Monday. "We are not done," Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said.
