The Pittsburgh Steelers have added to their stable of 2026 NFL draft picks, but it has come at the expense of trading wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys.According to ESPN's Todd Archer,

The Pittsburgh Steeler s finally washed their hands of the George Pickens era on Wednesday morning, reportedly sending their mercurial wide receiver and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Dallas Cowboys for third- and fifth-round selections. ESPN's Adam Schefter was the first to break the news.

If this is the case and the Steelers were dead set on trading Pickens away, it does force us to re-visit the draft and see where, if anywhere Pittsburgh could have addressed wide receiver on the presumption that Pickens would eventually be gone.
