JetBlue Airways Corp.’s flagship terminal at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport is getting a major refresh.

Frontier Airlines announced that starting in 2026, it will operate out of Terminal 6 (T6) at New York JFK Airport The T6 project is highly anticipated, and is set to open in 2026 as an upgraded and modernized terminal that will include a new ground transportation center and an entirely new, simplified roadway network.

JetBlue, in partnership with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and Fraport USA, has revealed a comprehensive refresh plan for John F. Kennedy (JFK) International Airport’s Terminal Five in New York.

The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and aviation facilities and operations manager Fraport USA has unveiled plans for the redevelopment of Terminal 5 at JFK International Airport in New York City.

Travelers flying on Air New Zealand’s flagship Auckland-New York City route will have an elevated customer experience as the airline is set to move its operations to New Terminal One once it opens in 2026. Air New Zealand currently operates out of JFK Airport’s existing Terminal 1.

The terminal will include a concourse reflecting New York’s green spaces, artwork from more than 30 plus, and live performances. Starting in 2025, it will add more than 40 new concessions that will bring in locally-owned restaurants and brands.
