One of the best female villains in film history would never be kind to onlookers. The sarcastic movie character would probably scoff in their direction or chillingly deliver, “Go!” But as Streep’s method-acting days stopped after playing Miranda Priestly, it’s no wonder she’d rather be nice to her adoring fans compared to staying in character.

In addition to Streep, original "The Devil Wears Prada" stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are returning for the sequel, 20th Century Studios confirmed to ABC News in June. Oscar winner Kenneth Branagh will also star in the film as Miranda's new husband, according to 20th Century Studios.

The sequel is expected to come out 20 years after "Devil Wears Prada" premiered. The follow-up film is said to follow Miranda Priestly (Streep), as she struggles with the decline of traditional magazine publishing.
