Ram resurrects Hemi engine for popular pickup trucks

Ram's full-size pickup truck can once again be fitted with a 395-hp 5.7-liter V-8, though on most models it costs an extra $1200.
We could see another dune-bashing Ram with a V8 in the future, as the company's CEO Tim Kuniskis tells us it's something they've debated "a lot."
This pushed the company to bring the Hemi back as fast as possible. As part of this effort, Ram launched a program called F15 to get the V8 back in its rightful place. The name was given a nod in a recent teaser video, which showed an F-15 fighter pilot grabbing some cookies from a table with Kuniskis standing nearby.
“Ram will continue to offer the more powerful and more efficient Hurricane Straight Six Turbo, but we heard loud and clear from consumers: there is no replacement for the iconic HEMI V-8.
