TikTok is restoring service to its app after President-elect Donald Trump said he would issue an executive order on Monday to reinstate the service in the U.S. and that he wants the country to have an ownership position in the app.

TikTok said Sunday that it would be restoring service to U.S. users after blocking it the evening before. In a statement, TikTok said its services were coming back online after President-elect Donald Trump provided assurances necessary to the company’s service providers.

Trump’s proposal exerted pressure on the entire tech ecosystem that makes TikTok available to U.S. users, including app store operators and service providers like Oracle which hosts its servers.
