As the age of the Transfer Portal commences, no program is safe from key departures. This offseason, the Florida Gators have been hot on the recruiting trail.

Florida Gators tight end Gavin Hill is entering the transfer portal, he announced on Wednesday. He has three years of eligibility remaining as a redshirt freshman. After redshirting in 2023, Hill switched from defensive line to tight end this season.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.-- The Florida Gators have made its first quarterback offer of this transfer portal cycle by offering former Charlotte signal-caller Deshawn Purdie. A true freshman in 2024, Purdie threw for 1,802 yards and 10 touchdowns against six interceptions and will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Redshirt sophomore linebacker Deuce Spurlock will return to the transfer portal after two seasons with the Florida Gators football program.
