Fire destroys empty Ottawa County turkey barn
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI -- Fire destroyed a large Ottawa County turkey barn late Tuesday, Oct. 21, but there were no turkeys inside. The fire was reported about 8:30 p.m. on 136th Avenue south of Stanton Street. Olive Township Fire Chief Brian DeWitt said the barn was a total loss.
