The roller coaster Minnesota Twins have found themselves in this middle of trade rumors before this year's deadline, and the speculation is only increasing ahead of the July 31 deadline.
On Friday, Finkelstein and Staph predicted that the Cubs would acquire Ryan, sending the Twins a three-prospect package including catcher Moises Ballesteros, infielder Jefferson Rojas, and right-handed pitcher Jaxon Wiggins.
Washington pulled off a much better deal than Miami, and something comparable could be possible with Larnach for the Twins. If they have a chance to add a Tena-type Triple-A player and upside with youngsters like Clemney and Ramirez Jr., they should pull the trigger.
With the MLB trade deadline fast approaching, the Twins are clearing roster space for any potential trade pieces they acquire.

If the Twins sell, they have plenty of marketable players to shop, from impending free agents to core pieces under years of team control.
