An Upstate New York man was charged Wednesday with sending threatening voicemails to the wife of slain UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson mere hours after his chilling murder on a Midtown sidewalk.

Potter said UnitedHealthcare denied coverage for the hospital stay. The insurance spokesperson said the stay was approved but there was an error with a separate request. Now, Potter said she believes UnitedHealthcare is retaliating against her because of her social media posts, putting her at risk of bankruptcy.

An upstate N.Y. man is due back in court Thursday for harrassing a relative of Brian Thompson, the UnitedHealthcare CEO allegedly murdered by Luigi Mangione.

The Galway man accused of sending threatening messages to the family of the murdered CEO of UnitedHealthcare was ordered to be held in jail pending a mental health evaluation and substance abuse treatment.
