ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that Cincinnati wants to get Flacco up to speed to start immediately this week. Taylor said it's a work in progress during the veteran's first full day in the building, but he's well-versed in multiple NFL systems.
While Zac Taylor left the door open for a change at quarterback after a 37-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, the Cincinnati Bengals head coach will remain in his role as the team's offensive play-caller. "I'm still going to retain that moving forward," Taylor told reporters in a press conference Oct. 6 at Paycor Stadium.
Despite taking blame for the continued struggles of the Bengals offense, Zac Taylor isn't giving up the playcalling duties.
