Live camera footage from a bald eagle nest in California has gone viral, capturing hundreds of thousands of views this week.

The organization that operates a live cam of the eagle nest confirmed the eaglets death on Saturday, two days after it had last been seen.

It is likely one of Jackie and Shadow’s baby chicks could not withstand the storm only days after hatching. Only two of three are visible this morning.
