Dallas police are investigating a fatal shooting at an apartment complex on Vantage Point Drive, where one person was shot and killed.

A Dallas police vehicle was involved in a crash, flipping on its roof Thursday morning, officials say. The Dallas Police Department said officers were called to assist an officer with an ambulance around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Peavy Road and North Buckner Boulevard.

DPD responded to a shooting call on El Estado Drive, near Arapaho Road and Coit Road, at about 2:40 p.m. Thursday, and found two victims at the scene. Arlina Sandler, 24, died at the scene, and 27-year-old Darvilease Washington died at the hospital, police said.

Two people were found dead in a Dallas motel in a suspected murder-suicide; a woman was shot by William Ramirez-Garcia, who then apparently killed himself.

Police said the officers were responding to an emergency call and had their lights activated at the time of the crash.
