The National Weather Service has expanded the flood watch that had been issued earlier today, to cover 12 New Jersey counties that could get lashed with strong thunderstorms and heavy downpours Thursday afternoon and Thursday evening.
On Thursday at 11:44 a.m. a flood watch was issued by the NWS Morristown TN valid from Friday noon until Sunday 8 p.m. for Cherokee and Clay counties.
