A Maine State Music Theatre group that visited the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday recounted what they witnessed during a theft of crown jewels.
The 65-person group was just a few feet away from the Apollo gallery where the thieves used a bucket lift and a circular saw to break through the window.
The Maine State Theatre Group was waiting to enter a room next to the gallery that was robbed, and left when the military arrived, a director said.
