A MLK Jr. Walk on Monday will provide an opportunity for reflection from the Heartland Conservation Alliance and KC Parks. It will begin at 9 a.m. at MLK Jr. Square Park at Woodland Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Kansas City, and end at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Places, services that will be closed on MLK Jr. Day in Kansas City metro
Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, Citibank and Wells Fargo will also be closed for MLK Day. Most local and Kansas City-based banks will also be closed on MLK and other federal holidays. The City of Kansas City trash services are closed on MLK Day for trash pick up.
