A Pokemon fan created adorable Bulbasaur-themed gifts for their Valentine, charming fans of the series. The Bulbasaur-themed Poke Balls were designed by a third party and created using a 3D printer.
But wait. When did you actually, physically throw a Pokeball? Swiping over colored pixels wasn’t enough for [Trey Keown], so he built a real, throwable, Pokemon-catching Pokeball for Pokemon Go.
It’s missing the analog stick and rechargeable battery; it has a CR2032, RGBLED, BTLE and a button to let you use it with Pokemon Go, but doesn’t work with the Switch like the Poke Ball Plus does.
The game recently released an update that removed the ability for players to summon creatures from Pal Spheres after they were thrown, in the same way one would throw a Pokeball to summon a Pokemon.
