Since a 2020 state mandate was imposed, more than 400 officers in the Adirondack Park have participated in a community policing training program sponsored by the Adirondack Diversity Initiative.

A building in the Jupiter Park of Commerce will be the new home of Jupiter's Building Department and maybe a police and fire training center as well.
