The Scarlet Knights snapped a two-game losing streak with a 79-72 win over Northwestern at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Wednesday fueled by one of their best defensive performances of the season and another sensational effort from Ace Bailey.

Sophomore guard Jamichael Davis filled in for Harper as primary ball-handler and played a pass-first game, handing out a career-high eight assists to go along with seven points and three steals. Davis committed just one turnover and led the team in plus/minus at plus-19.

A nagging ankle sprain for Harper and the tough defense of No. 8 Michigan State on Bailey limited their impact on Saturday as the Scarlet Knights fell, 81-74. Bailey finished with 18 points on 4-for-17 shooting, while Harper put up six in limited minutes.
