The upcoming Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl has added fuel to the fire of a popular NFL conspiracy involving the colors in the logo.

From straightforward simplicity to sleek and modern, the logos for the Super Bowl are incredibly recognizable.

Football fans are scrutinizing the Super Bowl 59 logo based on a conspiracy theory. Did the logo colors accurately predict which teams would play?

Conspiracy theorists got it right and the color of the Super Bowl logo ended up deciding the two teams who made it to Super Bowl LIX.

Conspiracists suggested that the league changed their mind about who they wanted in the Super Bowl after Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce started dating pop superstar Taylor Swift. Defenders of the theory thought it still held, with the purple color referencing the color scheme of Swift’s “Speak Now” album.

The Super Bowl logo conspiracy theory proposes that the colors in the logo predict which teams will play against each other in the championship NFL playoff game and that the NFL controls the outcome. Theorists suggest the NFL is scripted for revenue purposes.

Conspiracy theories arise when one team seems to consistently get favorable calls or continues winning. This has recently been the Chiefs, who have gone to seven straight AFC championships and five of the last six Super Bowls including this year against the Eagles .
