MINNEAPOLIS – The injury bug running rampant early this NBA season bit the Warriors and Timberwolves before the teams’ Wednesday matchup. ESPN reported that Minnesota superstar Anthony Edwards will undergo an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee and could miss up to two months.
"I feel like I’m always feeling myself," Ball said after Minnesota's 3-0 start. "As long as we winning, I’m feeling myself more."
Three notable takeaways from game three.
Edwards was one of the best clutch performers in the NBA last season. He posted the third-best true shooting percentage (68.7%) in the clutch last season. Players and coaches alike described Minnesota’s successful formula a year ago as one where the Wolves moved the ball for 40-plus minutes, then rode their star player to the finish line.
Donovan Mitchell had 26 points, including five points in overtime, and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-125 despite 47 points by Anthony Edwards.
