Major news broke earlier today regarding a future WWE Premium Live Event. The Sports Entertainment juggernaut has plans to return to Europe. More specifically, a big PLE will be held in France.

Clash in Paris will emanate from Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, August 31, the first time the French capital has hosted a PLE. The arena also will be home to Raw the following night. This marks WWE's second France-based PLE, with last year's Backlash France taking place in Lyon.

On the heels of a successful venture last May in Lyon, France, WWE will hold its first premium live event in Paris on Aug. 31. "Clash in Paris" will take place at Paris La Defense Arena, Europe's largest indoor venue with a capacity of up to 40,000. The event be followed on Sept. 1 by a global broadcast of "Monday Night Raw" from the arena.

WWE brings Clash in Paris to France on 31 August at Paris La Défense Arena, its first-ever PLE in the country. Raw follows on 1 September.
