The Boston Red Sox have revealed their plans for the star third baseman after his agent said he's open to a contract extension.

Agent Scott Boras told The Boston Globe’s Tim Healey that the 31-year-old and his family have really enjoyed their short time in Boston and that the camp is open to preemptive extension talks before Bregman’s opt-out deadline. He has played in just 51 games for the Boston Red Sox this season, but standout third baseman Alex Bregman is open "to any conversation" to re-up his deal, according to Bregman's agent Scott Boras.
