Cameron Norrie has issued a response after being accused of ‘weird’ behaviour during his Wimbledon quarter-final defeat to Carlos Alcaraz. Norrie was beaten in straight sets by the defending champion on Tuesday, ending British hopes in the singles, with Alcaraz easily winning 6-2 6-3 6-3.

Norrie won their last meeting on the clay of Rio de Janeiro two years ago, when Alcaraz was just a teenager. Now, this lad from Murcia in southeastern Spain is looking to add his name to the honours board at the All England Club for the third time, aged just 23. Only a fool would bet against him at this juncture.

The Alcaraz vs. Norrie match at Wimbledon today will air on ESPN. Every match of the tournament will also be available to stream on ESPN+. Wimbledon coverage will stream on ESPN+ this year.
