To clear a slot on its offseason roster for Pickens, Dallas waived wide receiver Seth Williams, who played at Paul Bryant High School in Cottondale and Auburn. Williams joined the Cowboys’ practice squad on Oct. 8. He had re-signed with Dallas in January.

Former Cowboys defensive back Jourdan Lewis is glad to be gone from Dallas now that George Pickens has been traded from the Steelers to the Cowboys. Lewis and Pickens got into a bit of a scuffle during last year’s game between Pittsburgh and Dallas, with Pickens pulling Lewis down by the facemask in the final seconds of the game.
