Rematch: These two teams meet in the conference finals for the second straight season after Edmonton ousted the Stars in 2024. The Stars went 0-for-14 on the power play during the series and the Oilers won Games 4, 5 and 6 to advance to the Stanley Cup final, where they’d eventually lose to the Florida Panthers.

For the third season in a row, the Dallas Stars are advancing to the Western Conference final following Saturday's victory over the Winnipeg Jets in Game 6 of Round 2. The Stars won the second round after an overtime thriller and will once again face the Edmonton Oilers starting on Wednesday,

Tensions were clearly high, and that was on display most at the end of the game when a brawl broke out between the two teams. Stars youngster Lian Bichsel and Oilers veteran Corey Perry exchanged some blows as gloves dropped and officials attempted to stop the action.
