The Tigers (59-39) and Rangers (49-49) meet at 7:05 p.m. Eastern time at Globe Life Park. The Tigers have lost five in a row for the first time since a five-game skid from July 28-Aug. 2 of last year.

Texas Rangers designated hitter Kyle Higashioka was almost put out twice by All-Star players from Detroit in a strange sequence.

Detroit Tigers are the fourth team in franchise history to feature six All-Stars. The other three teams had a mixed bag of playoff success.
