Near a new 2025-high, gas prices in Michigan are at $3.29 on average, a 20-cent increase since last week, according to AAA- The Auto Club Group. The price is 8 cents more than a month ago and 23 cents below the same time in 2024, officials said.

The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.22, up eight cents from last Monday. One year ago, the price was $3.45. The New York State average is $3.21, up 10 cents from last Monday.
