We're still in the early stages of the Luka Doncic and LeBron James era with the Los Angeles Lakers, and they're somehow already giving everyone incredible memories. During Saturday night's 134-127 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, the dynamic duo even managed to channel some iconic NBA history.

LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves helped close out a close game against Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies to help the Lakers earn a 134-127 victory. Doncic scored 29 points, adding eight rebounds and nine assists while shooting 11-of-12 from the free throw line.

Ahead of their game against the Rockets, the Lakers provided an injury update on star forward LeBron James that will be worth monitoring. Following a seven-game absence earlier this month after suffering a groin injury against the Boston Celtics, James has appeared in each of the Lakers' last five games.

While much of his success came before joining Los Angeles in 2018, James has had a very impressive Lakers tenure. In his seventh season with LA, James had been an All-Star each year, adding a championship and Finals MVP award in 2020.
