Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts interjected during Justice Sonia Sotomayor's questioning at oral argument on Thursday as she repeatedly talked over lawyers.

Chief Justice John Roberts warned a group of graduating laws students Monday that the rule of law is “endangered.” Without naming any names, the conservative justice also said during an event with students at Georgetown University that recent attacks against Supreme Court justices have gone too far.

Chief Justice John Roberts said that criticism of members of the US Supreme Court shouldn’t turn personal. “Criticism is a good thing so long as it is not trashing the justices,” Roberts said in response to questions from graduating law students at Georgetown University Monday.
