Hawaii's Kilauea volcano has been erupting again. The volcano which is on the southeastern part of the island of Hawaii is currently going through the latest episode of an ongoing eruption. Kilauea's latest eruption began 23 December 2024 and has been stopping and starting since then.

Scientists said “episode 17” of Kilauea Volcano’s ongoing eruption ended at 9:45 a.m. today after low fountaining stopped at the south vent.
