FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball will receive some further clarity on its 2025 roster over the next few days, with the 2024 MLB Draft officially turning the page on the previous season. The Razorbacks were decimated by last year's draft when six high school recruits, including four of the top-six hitting prospects committed to Arkansas, all signed and skipped their college eligibility.

It is a top-heavy year for shortstops in the draft. Aloy, Aiva Arquette (Oregon State), Marek Houston (Wake Forest) and Alex Lodise (Florida State) all have first-round grades, as do several high school players at the position, headlined by potential first overall pick Ethan Holliday from Stillwater, Okla.
