One person was shot and killed at a park in Southwest Philadelphia Monday night, police said. Police are on the scene at 57th Street and Grays Avenue where the male victim was shot in the head just before 9 p.m., Chief Inspector Scott Small said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Small said.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting Monday night that claimed the life of an 18-year-old man from Smyrna.

The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Police are still searching for the shooter and a motive.
