Police say 41 officers have been injured and 13 people have been arrested after three nights of rioting across several towns.

More police officers hurt during fifth night of violence in Northern Ireland - The violence followed an alleged sex attack on a teenage girl in Ballymena.

Petrol bombs were thrown at police for a fifth consecutive night in Northern Ireland, in what has been dubbed a “week of shame” for the region. After serious public disorder erupted in Ballymena on Monday, the focus of the violence and unrest has since shifted to Portadown.
