The backups, free agents and rookies are likely to get the bulk of the snaps again with the starters only playing a limited number of possessions.

Joe Alt has switched sides and is now manning Slater's spot at left tackle, meaning Pipkins is now the Chargers starting right tackle. It's a spot Pipkins knows well as he has 2,700-plus career snaps there, and the Bolts will need him to step up in 2025 to help offset the loss of Slater.

Coincidentally, both have since reunited with the Chargers after their one-year departures, though Williams retired on the first day of training camp, ushering in a reunion with Allen. Nonetheless, the Chargers have a competition between the two upstarts.
