RB Leipzig want to re-sign Christopher Nkunku as part of the deal to sell Xavi Simons to Chelsea. Chelsea are keen to move on several players including Nkunku – who wants to leave – before pushing ahead with bids to sign Simons and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho.

Christopher Nkunku has been linked with a surprise return to RB Leipzig as Chelsea continue their push to sign Xavi Simons. The French forward is among several players the Blues have put on the table during negotiations with the Bundesliga side.

Leipzig are among a number of sides interested in the forward, but have some financial reservations about the logistics of a potential deal.
